2018 Research Meeting

Themed Big Data Advances in Biomedical Science, the 2018 AAHC Research Meeting took place November 29-30 at the Liaison Capitol Hill Hotel in Washington, DC.

This meeting focused on the evolving role of big data in the research enterprise of academic health centers. Program highlights included experiences in big data management at member institutions and federal partners. Topics covered included discussing the role of big data in support of clinical trials; the sharing, storage, and security of big data; and institutional approaches to the management and usage of big data.

The AAHC Research Meeting is designed for current and aspiring research leaders as well as research administrators, and is open to all faculty and staff from AAHC member institutions.

This meeting also provides an excellent opportunity for peer-to-peer networking, the exchange of new ideas, and the sharing of best practices.
