AAHC accepts gifts from individuals and family foundations to support our mission. All contributions are fully deductible as allowed by law.
Planned gifts enable individuals to make significant gifts that they may not have been able to make during their lifetime. Such gifts include bequests through a will, retirement plan assets, charitable trusts, and charitable gift annuities. Planned gifts enable you to support AAHC, receive tax benefits, and sustain your current lifestyle.
For example, a bequest by will allows a donor to support AAHC’s mission while reducing their taxable estate, and may designate a specific dollar amount or property, a percentage of the estate, a residual amount, or a contingency bequest.
Please notify us if you have included AAHC in your estate plans so we may recognize your generosity. For more information on ways to make a planned gift to AAHC, please contact the development office at 202-265-9600 ext. 3965 or email@example.com.
You can create a lasting legacy in your name or in the name of a loved one through an endowment gift to AAHC. Your gift to the endowment is invested and the return on investment supports AAHC programs and initiatives. To discuss an endowment gift, please contact the development office at 202-265-9600 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift.
If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
For more information about matching gifts please contact the development office at 202-265-9600 or email@example.com.
