Strengthening the Academic Health Center Advantage

For the 4th consecutive year, the AAHC is holding its International Forum in Washington, DC.  It is clear that the worldwide academic healthcare community is becoming more and more interconnected, with much to learn from and offer to each other.  Given the unprecedented progress of globalization, the Forums bring together academic health center leaders from around the world to facilitate information sharing, networking, and collaborative activities.  The theme of this year's meeting is Strengthening the Academic Health Center Advantage, and is once again being chaired by Dr. Victor Dzau, chancellor for health affairs, Duke University, and AAHC board member.  The agenda is a broad one - from venture capital to health reform - and holds relevance for academic health center leadership, organization, and management, regardless of the size and scope of your international program.
