FORUM ON REGULATION

The Forum will address issues related to clinical trials, recovery audit contractors, and clinical trial policy.  We will also open up a new compliance area and address data security.  Data security issues span research and clinical compliance, and can present tremendous risks to institutions and create a chilling effect on clinical research.  We will explore technology, HIPAA, institutional policies, the current regulatory world, and the Forum’s role with respect to data security.   A full agenda will be coming in the next couple of weeks.
