AAHC EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP GROUP:
FORUM ON REGULATION

This special workshop will focus on the Clinical Trial Policy, decision-making processes and issues and challenges in local coverage decisions as well as the complex academic health center compliance landscape and new structures, processes and practices that ensure compliance and accountability in clinical trial operations. 

The workshop is part of the Forum’s ongoing activities designed to open a national dialogue on how regulatory processes impact the nation’s academic health centers and to examine ways to foster development of appropriate regulatory compliance frameworks for universities and the nation.

The workshop will provide an opportunity to enhance understanding of the complexity of clinical research operations at academic health centers and to showcase the activities and products of the various Forum workgroups. We anticipate a broad range of issues will be considered, ranging from therapeutic intent to claims submissions as we address decision-making processes and the variability that may exist across the U.S
