AAHC Inaugural European Meeting

The Future of Academic Health Centers in Europe

April 26-27, 2009

 

On April 26-27, 2009, leaders from 8 European countries met in Amsterdam to discuss the future of academic health centers in Europe, and the critical challenges facing the leadership of these institutions.  With an eye toward to the possibilities offered through collaboration and peer level exchange of ideas, discussions were initiated to form a European association of academic health centers, working in partnership with AAHC International, to strengthen academic health center leadership and resources in Europe and globally.
