AAHC Inaugural Asia Pacific Meeting:
Developing International Partnerships in Academic Medicine

February 26 and 27, 2009

AAHC International cohosted a meeting in Singapore which brought together leaders from 31 institutions, representing 11 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.  Over the two day meeting, participants focused on developing aligned incentives across mission areas, building important international relationships, and managing growth.  There was time devoted to exploring existing and potential partnerships between US and Asian/Pacific institutions, and case study discussion of best practices in establishing and managing those relationships.
