For the first time, the AAHC Executive Leadership Groups (ELGs) met together around a common theme, The Academe-Industry Interface. This innovative new meeting format allowed members to leverage the diversity of perspectives within AHCs to address an issue that is relevant to everyone. Not only did attendees connect with fellow ELG peers, but they also heard from an array of others currently collaborating on academe-industry partnerships.
Sessions included: The Roche vs. Stanford Case: Legality Issues and Implications for AHCs, Clinical Trials and Clinical Research Best Practices, Negotiating Partnerships with Industry, Industry Perspectives: Hearing What Industry Has to Say, ELG-specific sessions and roundtables, and a comprehensive session on Conflict of Interest.
