Workgroup Mission:

• Examine current methods of billing and budget development for clinical trials at academic health centers.
• Assess similarities across institutions, desirable characteristics and institutional requirements and needs.
• Design new model(s) for billing and budgeting to improve clinical trials billing
• Assess potential for widespread adoption, dissemination, and implementation.
• Investigate the possibility of working with private industry to develop software specifically targeting to clinical trials billing. 
• Examine feasibility of providing a consumer report with a rating system on billing related software.
• Work with AAHC staff to determine what resources and support will be needed.
